This mural was created by men and women over age 50 affected by HIV/AIDS. The mural is mixed medium and includes acrylic paint as well as clay. The symbolism in the mural depicts a rally scene, a graveyard that mimics the rise and fall of death rates from HIV before and after the introduction of HIV medicines, musical notes to the Bob Marley song "Don't Give Up the Fight", a group meeting, a volcano spewing HIV pills, and a central sun with two faces symbolically representing the impact and importance of relationships within the context of HIV.
